At Here 4 U RI, our vision is to revolutionize the way mental health services are delivered to children, teens, and families in Rhode Island. We aim to eliminate all barriers that prevent individuals from accessing therapy by bringing high-quality, compassionate mental health care directly to their doorsteps.

The Bus Plan: Our mobile therapy units will be specifically designed to create a welcoming and safe space for therapy sessions. Each bus is transformed into a fully equipped therapy office that can easily travel to homes, schools, and community partner locations. By parking in convenient and accessible areas, we ensure that families can receive the support they need without the hassle of transportation or the concerns of a lack of privacy in their homes. The Layout: The interior of our therapy buses will be thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and therapeutic environment. Key features include:

• Furniture: The room will be furnished with comfortable seating for both the therapist and the client, including child-friendly furniture for sessions with younger clients.
• Therapeutic Tools: The room will be equipped with a variety of therapeutic tools, such as toys for play therapy, art supplies for expressive therapy, and other relevant materials.
• Safety & Technology Integration: Equipped with computers and other necessary technology for teletherapy and administrative purposes like: soundproofing, sound machines for privacy, secure HIPPA compliant electronic health records, locked storage, a secured printer and secure WIFI. The buses will also have tinted windows and locks for privacy and safety purposes.

Our Services: Here 4 U RI offers a comprehensive range of mental health services, including:

• Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions tailored to address the unique needs of each individual.
• Play Therapy: Utilizing play-based techniques to help younger children process their emotions and experiences.
• Group Therapy: Supportive group sessions where people experiencing similar experiences can share and learn from their peers in a structured environment.
• Family Therapy: Addressing family dynamics and improving communication and relationships within the family unit.

What Makes Us Different:

Consistent mobile psychotherapy services are non existent in Rhode Island. There are many therapist in the state that provide services in home or virtual therapy but there are many barriers with these methods making them ineffective or unsustainable. There is also a mobile crisis unit that goes out to the homes, but again therapy is provided in home or in their office. HERE 4 U RI will come to the homes, but services will be in the bus converted into a therapy office eliminating all the barriers that make in home therapy and virtual therapy unsustainable or ineffective.

• Accessibility: Our mobile units eliminate barriers such as transportation issues or schedule flexibility, ensuring that therapy is accessible to all. Being able to go to the patient cuts down on cancelations and eliminates he worry of those fees for them and the therapist as well.
• Privacy and Safety: Our buses provide a private and safe space for therapy, addressing the common concerns with virtual therapy regarding lack of privacy and distractions at home.
• Community Focus: We are deeply embedded in the community, partnering with community partners and local organizations to reach those who need our services the most. We can go anywhere at any time, making scheduling a much easier task and cutting waitlist by more than half of regular therapy offices. We will work to have enough therapist and buses working to not have any waitlist.
• Personal Connection: Our founder’s personal experiences and deep understanding of the community’s needs drive our commitment to making a meaningful impact. This is a passion for her not a hobby. She will make sure Here 4 U reaches as many families as possible in RI by eliminating any barriers or concerns they may have.

By starting in Providence, Rhode Island, we aim to address the most urgent needs in our community and gradually expand our services to serve the entire state.
